While 2017 is expected to be an exciting year for CEG, Brad Boyer has decided to retire from the consulting engineering business. He will be focusing on his other business, Lone Star Prestress Manufacturing, Inc. Brad will continue to lend his electrical engineering expertise to CEG by providing continuing education and training seminars.

With Brad’s departure, Collaborative Engineering Group welcomes a new Partner, Andy Solberg. Andy joined CEG in 2016 and brings over twenty years of experience in the MEP industry on a large variety of projects, specializing in healthcare and laboratory systems. A Rice University graduate with both Mechanical Engineering and Physics degrees, Andy currently coordinates all engineering disciplines for CEG as Vice President of Engineering.

Throughout his career Andy has worked on numerous high profile projects for Texas Children’s Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Methodist Hospital, UTMB and VA Temple. He is a LEED accredited professional who is a member of ASHRAE, ASPE and HAAHE.
