Rice University Music & Performing Arts Live Construction Progress

Once constructed located west of existing Alice Pratt Brown Hall, the Rice University Music and Performing Arts Center will include an opera theater, audience chamber, 600-seat auditorium, 5,000-6,000 sqft stage and wings, an orchestra pit that will seat 70 people, new dressing and conductor's rooms, a musician’s lounge, a backstage green room, and state-of-the-art audio visual capabilities.

The building is expected to open in July 2020.
