Lone Star College University Park Visual and Performing Arts

The newly constructed Lone Star College - University Park Visual and Performing Arts Center offers a range of amenities for the college’s visual and performing arts department and serves as the campus’s innovative hub for creativity. Spanning an impressive 30,000 SF, this state-of-the-art facility was specifically designed to enrich the educational and artistic experiences of students. The center boasts a multidisciplinary approach, featuring an art gallery and art studio. The Drama facilities include a 338-seat auditorium equipped with an orchestra pit, catwalks, sound and lighting booths, as well as a 100-seat black box theater. Additionally, there is a costume design room, a scenery shop for set design and construction, and dressing rooms complete with showers. For music enthusiasts, the center offers a music ensemble classroom and practice rooms. To cater to the needs of faculty, the center also provides classrooms and combined office space.
