The Rice University Library Service Center was constructed in 2004 to provide off-site, preservation housing for low-use library materials.
Expansion that includes a single-story horizontal addition to increase the capacity for book collections. Storage area design conditions are 50 degrees and 30% RH. 10,000 SF new storage module, which will double the current capacity. The new building area totals approximately 28,750 SF.
